We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our agency team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional service by answering inquiries, assisting with policy management, resolving issues, and helping clients understand their insurance coverage. You will play a key role in building client relationships, supporting retention, and contributing to the agency's overall success.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls, emails, chats, and in-person inquiries from clients regarding policies, coverage, billing, claims status, and general insurance questions.

• Process policy changes, renewals, cancellations, endorsements, and updates to customer accounts.

• Handle and resolve customer complaints or issues efficiently, escalating complex matters to supervisors or other departments (e.g., claims, underwriting) as needed.

• Review client accounts for accuracy, identify cross-selling or upselling opportunities (e.g., additional coverage or bundling), and refer to producers/agents when suitable.

• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, policy details, and transactions in the agency's management system.

• Process payments, handle billing inquiries, and assist with payment arrangements.

• Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, certificate issuance, and generating reports.
