General Dermatologist

Location: Medina / Wadsworth / Wooster, Ohio
Schedule: Full-Time or 4 Days per Week

A well-established, privately owned dermatology practice is seeking a General Dermatologist with an interest in providing comprehensive general dermatologic care.

The practice provides a broad range of dermatology services, including general medical dermatology, Mohs surgery, cosmetic procedures, laser treatments, and adult and pediatric dermatology. The practice serves a large and established patient population and offers modern technology and resources to support high-quality patient care.

The organization values work-life balance and provides physicians with dedicated support staff, including scribes and medical assistants, to promote clinical efficiency and allow providers to focus on patient care. An experienced administrative team manages operational and logistical support.

• Base Salary: $575,000 annually
• Minimum expectation of 45 patients per day
• Once annual net collections exceed $1.5 million , the provider receives 10% of net collections above $1.5 million through the remainder of the applicable year.

• Base Salary: $540,000 annually
• Minimum expectation of 45 patients per day
• Once annual net collections exceed $1.25 million , the provider receives 10% of net collections above $1.25 million through the remainder of the applicable year.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing comprehensive dermatologic care to patients
• Maintaining a high level of expertise in dermatologic medicine
• Completing medical documentation accurately and efficiently
• Communicating biopsy and laboratory results to patients in a timely manner
• Participating in chart review and quality initiatives
• Educating and supervising advanced practice providers and clinical support staff
• Training and providing guidance to medical support staff
• Directing support staff to maintain an efficient, effective, and positive clinical environment
• Attending and participating in staff meetings
• Supporting practice growth and patient engagement initiatives

The practice provides evaluation and treatment for a broad range of dermatologic conditions, including acne, psoriasis, eczema, rosacea, skin infections, allergic skin conditions, nail disorders, hair disorders, and other acute and chronic dermatologic conditions.

Additional services include skin cancer evaluation and treatment, Mohs micrographic surgery, laser procedures, facial and skin rejuvenation, hair removal, vascular treatments, and other cosmetic and aesthetic procedures.

The physician will provide patient care at practice locations in:

• Medina, Ohio
• Wadsworth, Ohio
• Wooster, Ohio

Candidates should be comfortable traveling between these locations as required.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Successful completion of an accredited Dermatology residency program
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology
• Current DEA registration , or ability to obtain one, if required for the position
• Eligible for credentialing and medical staff privileges
• Strong clinical knowledge of general medical dermatology
• Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of acute and chronic dermatologic conditions
• Comfortable treating adult and pediatric patients
• Ability to maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, medical assistants, scribes, and other clinical staff
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
• Ability to maintain an efficient clinical workflow in a high-volume practice environment
• Comfortable seeing approximately 45 patients per day
• Willingness and ability to travel between Medina, Wadsworth, and Wooster, Ohio , as needed
