Job Summary:

Position Title: Cook
Location: Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice,Crittenden, KY 41030
Duration: Open-ended
Work Schedule: Sunday through Saturday
Department: DJJ
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Serve meals for 80+ (breakfast), 90+ (lunch), 80+ (dinner), and 3 daily snacks per youth
• Pull meats from freezer and prep food
• Stock supplies and manage inventory
• Clean kitchen and perform temperature checks
• Complete daily paperwork and update diet info
• Prepare special diet meals as needed
• Place food and supply orders

To be considered for this position, you should have:

• 4 to 6 months of experience.
