Make a meaningful impact supporting students through thoughtfully designed special education programs as a contract Special Education Teacher for the school year. Multiple opportunities are available for committed professionals who are passionate about providing individualized learning environments in self-contained or resource classroom settings. Working on-site, you’ll collaborate with other educators and school teams, utilizing your expertise to help students reach their fullest potential.

Opportunities are available for full-time or part-time schedules, supporting a variety of settings, including behavior-focused classrooms and cross-category self-contained environments for students in the MID cognitive range, as well as specialized preschool classrooms and resource positions. Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher Certification (SPED Cert)
• Active IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (IVP FP Card)
• Experience in behavior programs and CPI certification strongly preferred for the self-contained behavior program assignment
• Experience or certification in Early Childhood Special Education (EC or EC/SPED Cert) preferred for preschool assignment
• Compassionate, adaptable, and committed to team collaboration and student growth

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs personalized to each student’s needs
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
• Collaborate with school teams, families, and related service providers
• Track progress and document student advancement towards IEP goals
• Use evidence-based instructional strategies tailored to diverse learners
