Job Type: Full-Time / Contract Position

Work Schedule: Services will generally be performed Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. The specific schedule will be coordinated after award and may include in-person or virtual group sessions, individual appointments, case consultations, and related documentation. Personnel must arrive or log in at least 15 minutes before each scheduled session.

Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency facilities in Washington, D.C., including:

• 633 Indiana Avenue NW
• 2101 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE
• 1900 Massachusetts Avenue SE
• 501 3rd Street NW, future location
• 910 Rhode Island Avenue

Services may also be provided remotely through a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform when authorized.

The initial period of performance is 12 months from the date of award, followed by four 12-month option periods. The contract may also be extended for up to six additional months.

The Psychologist will provide evidence-based psychotherapy and counseling services to adults under community supervision. Services will include group psychotherapy, trauma-focused treatment, violence and victimization therapy, relational therapy, individual psychotherapy, case consultation, treatment planning, clinical documentation, and progress reporting.

The Psychologist will coordinate with supervision officers, behavioral-health personnel, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to support behavioral change, emotional regulation, rehabilitation, and successful community reintegration.

• Ph.D., Psy.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in behavioral health from an accredited program
• Current, unrestricted professional license
• At least three years of recent behavioral-health clinical experience
• At least three years of recent experience working with adults in forensic settings and preparing clinical reports
• Experience with justice-involved or court-supervised adults preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to complete required background checks and security screening
• Strong communication, documentation, and computer skills

• Conduct psychotherapy, trauma, violence and victimization, and relational therapy groups
• Provide individual psychotherapy when requested
• Develop treatment plans and apply evidence-based clinical methods
• Document sessions, attendance, progress notes, and clinical concerns
• Prepare progress and discharge reports
• Participate in case consultations and multidisciplinary meetings
• Respond appropriately to urgent safety or mental-health concerns
• Maintain confidential and secure treatment records
• Coordinate with supervision officers and behavioral-health personnel
• Maintain required licenses, certifications, and professional standards
