MIG/TIG Fitter – Custom Tooling Builder

Where: Clinton Township, Michigan
Type: Contract Position
Note: Must have your own tools

Join a fabrication and assembly team focused on building small weldments and custom details straight from drawings and specifications. When fabrication work eases, you’ll pivot to mechanical build duties to keep projects moving.

• Fit and weld small, custom components using MIG and TIG
• Transform blueprints into accurate, production-ready assemblies
• Contribute to mechanical build activities during lighter fabrication periods
• Uphold high standards of reliability, attendance, and teamwork

• Demonstrated experience as a Fitter
• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding
• Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications
• Physical readiness to bend/squat, and lift/carry 60 lbs.
• Positive attitude; ready to Start ASAP
