Operating Room Nurse - Orthopedic Specialty

Location: Dulles, VA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 06:45 AM - 03:15 PM (case volume dependent)

Job Description: The Operating Room Nurse will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in the orthopedic specialty area, including total joints, sports, spine, podiatry, and hands. The nurse will work within a team in a high-paced environment, adhering to strict surgical protocols and delivering safe and effective care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist in orthopedic surgical procedures within the operating room environment.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures.
• Perform circulating and scrubbing duties as required.
• Document patient information accurately and timely.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-2 years of operating room experience, specifically in General OR.
• 1-2 years of experience in orthopedic surgical procedures (Total Joints, Sports, Spine, Podiatry, Hands).
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.
