Job DescriptionInova Fairfax Hospital is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Telemetry to join the team. This role will be part-time (2- 12-hour shifts per week); rotating night/day shifts (2-3 weeks of each shift per 6-week scheduling period); 7:00 a.m./p.m. – 7:00 p.m./a.m.; rotating weekends (2 shifts per 6-week period).Inova is consistently ranked a national healthcare leader in safety, quality and patient experience. If RN has an AD, within 2 years from date of hire, they must meet with their nurse leader and conduct the following: 1.) Identify which accredited school they plan to attend 2.) Provide a written plan with anticipated BSN completion date 3.) Submit a review of transcripts from the school indicating the required pre-requisites and timeline for taking the courses 4.) Complete BSN within 5 years of start dateExperience: 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, for Critical Care units, 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a critical care setting or completion of a critical care fellowship.Certification: BLS & ACLS from American Heart Association; Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse or an active multi-state Registered Nurse licensePreferred Qualifications:Experience: Prior Vascular Surgery, Cardiac Telemetry, or Medical Surgical Telemetry highly preferred.
