Job Title: Manufacturing Operator 2
Work Location: Sheboygan Falls, WI 53085
Pay Rate: $22-25.00/hr on W2
Schedule Time: Weekend Day Shift; Friday - Sunday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (12-hour shifts) + 4 flexible hours scheduled during the week to complete 40 hours.

Position Summary:

• Provides operational support in a 24/7 continuous membrane manufacturing facility producing lateral flow membrane samples for customers.
• Maintains day-to-day manufacturing line operations while adhering strictly to safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
• Executes in-process analytical testing, material verification, equipment fault identification, and routine facility/equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Operate continuous manufacturing lines and execute routine daily tasks to support 24/7 production goals.
• Verify the quality and integrity of raw materials and equipment prior to and during manufacturing runs.
• Identify equipment malfunctions and perform approved corrective actions or assist maintenance staff with repairs.
• Perform in-process analytical testing, basic work-ups, and data interpretations per written work instructions.
• Maintain continuous cleanliness and organization of manufacturing areas, tools, and facility equipment.
• Operate forklifts and manual pallet trucks safely to move production raw materials and finished goods.
• Comply strictly with FDA, OSHA, EPA, DNR, DOT, and site-specific safety and quality standards.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Technical & Mechanical Aptitude: Strong mechanical reasoning; ability to operate hand tools, lab equipment, calculators, and weighing/measuring devices.
• Software Skills: Basic proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook to view and enter operational data.
• Language & Math: Effective oral/written English communication skills, basic math proficiency, and the ability to read and follow written protocols.
• Material Handling: Ability and willingness to operate forklifts/pallet jacks (onsite forklift training and certification provided).

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma, GED, or HSED is required.
• 2 to 3 years of prior manufacturing or machine operator experience is preferred.

Additional Information:

• Physical & Environmental Requirements: Must be able to sit and stand for long periods, lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted, and pass a post-offer visual acuity exam. Work environment involves chemicals (e.g., Nitrocellulose in IPA, Acetone, Butanol, Ethanol); full site PPE is provided (anti-shed uniform, hair/beard net, hard hat, safety glasses).
• Pre-Employment Requirements: Requires passing a pre-employment physical exam alongside standard background and drug screening clearance prior to start.
