Join us!Work Location: Rowlett, Murphy, and Paris CentersWork Hours: Rowlett and Murphy locations 7:00am-4:00pm and Saturdays 7:00am -12:00pm. Paris location 7:30am-4:30pm and Saturdays 8:00am - 12:00pm. (Two Saturdays per month required)The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.Department/Center Highlights:Deliver efficient, comfortable screening experiences using advanced digital mammography technology.Patient-focused teamCohesive and friendly environmentHere is what you will need:Texas Medical Board License - TMBCurrent ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience.Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic TechnologyContinuing Education: MQSA/FDA - 15 CEU's every 3 years, 200-documented case numbers every 2 years.Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.A Day in the Life of a Mammography Technologist:Provide services and support for the following areas:Understands, promotes and demonstrates the Solis WayConsistently practices excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique;Ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health;Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees;Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated, written or oral instructions;Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills;Performs other work-related duties as assigned.Why Solis Mammography?A Great Place to Work, earning this prestigious award for multiple years running.At Solis Mammography, we save lives.
