The position involves providing specialized patient care on a Medical Surgical Neurology Floor, with a focus on neurosurgery and neuroscience patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Birmingham, Alabama
• Specialty: MS NEURO Medical Surgical Neurology Floor
• Shift: Days, 12 hours per shift, from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM (Pacific Time)
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and AHA National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Experience: 2 years of relevant experience preferred; 0 years minimum experience required
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; Certifications: AHA BLS and NIHSS; Education: State RN licensing requirements; Experience: 2 years in neurosurgery/neuroscience preferred; Location: Birmingham, Alabama; Shift hours: 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM; Minimum hours per week: 36
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro and neurosurgery patients; familiarity with Cerner electronic medical record system
• Float: As needed
• Additional Information: The role requires a positive attitude and good work ethic. The candidate must adhere to scrubs dress code (navy blue), with no artificial fingernails permitted.
