Values: Innovation, Collaboration, Accountability, Responsiveness, Excellence (ICARE) Responsibilities This time-limited position provides operational support for the FDOH-SJC Administration area and assists throughout the agency as needed. It requires independent work and teamwork to accomplish deliverables and to coordinate and communicate between all areas of FDOH-SJC. Key duties include: Scanning, organizing, and preparing Environmental Public Health files Organizing and preparing files for record storage and/or destruction Entering data and preparing and following up on invoices Serving as frontline staff greeting visitors, answering and handling phone calls, and providing excellent customer service Working with clients, visitors, and vendors; answering telephones; processing mail; providing support for projects and deliverables Participating in meetings and trainings as requested Performing other duties as assigned Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Effective communication principles and techniques Ability to meet deadlines and organize tasks Proficiency in using computers, copiers, and scanners Effective time management Independent work capability Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks Microsoft Office application skills Qualifications Minimum: valid driver’s license. Other job-related requirements: The incumbent may be required to work before, during, or beyond normal work hours or days in the event of an emergency. Emergency duty may include work in special needs or Red Cross shelters, or other emergency duties including responses to or threats involving any disaster or threat of disaster, man‑made or natural.
