About the Role:
ComForCare Home Care - Contra Costa West is hiring immediately for urgent 12-hour shift coverage in Orinda, CA! This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a client's life while joining a compassionate and supportive home care team. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct in-home care and assistance to clients during 12-hour shifts
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Support clients with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being
- Monitor and report changes in client condition to supervisors
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment for the client
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a caregiver, HHA, CNA, or personal care aide preferred
- Ability to work a 12-hour shift with immediate availability
- Compassionate, reliable, and patient demeanor
- Valid ID and ability to pass a background check
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow care plans
- CPR/First Aid certification a plus
