divh2Ultrasound Technologist/h2pElmhurst, NY - 11373 (Onsite)/pp13 Weeks contract (possible extension)/pp9a-5p (8x5)/ph3Job Responsibilities:/h3ulliExplaining the ultrasound procedure to patients, answering their questions, and providing support./liliSpreading the ultrasound gel on the surface of patients bodies over the internal area to be imaged./liliProgramming and adjusting the scanner for the specific procedure and ensuring the transducer captures images from every angle or section as needed./liliDeciding which still images, or sonograms, to capture and present to the Physician for diagnostic purposes./liliEvaluating the images for quality and interpreting the images to assist the Physicians in diagnosing and treating diseases./liliPresenting the images and your preliminary findings to the Physicians./liliMaintaining patients records and medical notes on the ultrasound procedure they have undergone./liliMaintaining the ultrasound equipment and sterilizing the procedure rooms./li/ulh3Requirements:/h3ulliUltrasound Tech license (ARDMS)/liliBLS (AHA) - Preferred/lili1 year of General Registered Ultrasound experience./li/ul/div
