Truck Driver CDL A No Weekends

Position Description Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Mocksville, NC — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about. Weekly Pay: $1364 or more per week. Compensation includes: Solo Miles Pay: $0.51 per mile with approximately 1400 miles per week Solo Stops Pay: $15.00 per stop with about 30 stops per week Per Diem Pay: $50.00 per night with 3‑4 nights per week Overnights routed through Ryder‑booked hotels Paid training Schedule: Monday – Friday, no weekends Start time: 4:00 AM Route & Vehicle Deliver SOLO to: NC, SC, KY, TN, GA, Southern VA, FL, and MN Route: Regional Tractor: Day Cab, Sleeper, or Box Truck 26′ Trailer: Dry Van, 53′ Ryder will train you on all required equipment Freight: Touch‑Screen Doors and Hardware Benefits Medical, Dental & Vision after 30 days 80 hours PTO in the first year (use it or get paid) Uniforms, cell phone & boot allowance provided Drivers are the Captain — you make safety decisions, and your job is protected 401(k) rollover available, company match at 1 year 12 weeks paid maternity leave (subject to eligibility) Employee discounts on tools, vehicles, travel, tech & more Unlimited referral bonus for hired drivers Requirements Minimum 21 years of age Pass a Ryder Drug Test Pass a Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers over the last 3 years Pass a DOT physical Pass a Ryder road testProvide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle Experience required: 9 months within the past 3 years, OR 2 years within the last 5 years, OR 5 years within the last 10 years Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures Responsibilities Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards, maintain accurate records and logs Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading if required by customer Perform other duties as assigned Ryder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and a drug‑free workplace.
