Job Title: Tube Operator

Location: San Juan Bautista, CA

Pay Rate: $25.30 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, PM Shift

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Tube Operator to support warehouse and agricultural cooler operations. This role is responsible for operating vacuum cooling tube systems and heavy equipment to move, cool, and stage perishable agricultural products. The ideal candidate will ensure product quality, follow food safety standards, and maintain efficient workflow in a cold storage environment.

• Operate vacuum cooling tube systems to rapidly cool fresh produce and preserve product quality
• Load and unload pallets into industrial cooling equipment and monitor temperature-controlled cycles
• Safely operate forklifts (including large-capacity models) and electric pallet jacks to move materials throughout the facility
• Stage, organize, and rotate inventory using FIFO procedures
• Monitor, record, and report pulp and storage temperatures as required
• Maintain GMP, OSHA, and company safety standards at all times
• Inspect equipment and report any mechanical issues or product damage
• Assist with general sanitation and cold storage housekeeping duties

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1–12 months of forklift and warehouse or agricultural cooler experience preferred
• Valid forklift certification is a plus
• Ability to work in cold, wet, and refrigerated environments for extended periods
• Must be able to lift, push, or move up to 50–100 lbs regularly
• Strong attention to safety, detail, and teamwork
