Senior GenAI Engineer

Hands-on and detail-driven, the full-time Senior GenAI Engineer will design and deliver end-to-end LLM-based applications for a major US insurance provider, focusing on scalable backend APIs and generative AI applications while working remotely. Key responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI Build and integrate LLM-powered features using OpenAI GPT and Anthropic Claude models Implement observability and diagnostics for LLM applications, ensuring full application lifecycle support Required qualifications 4+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on Python Solid experience building production REST APIs with FastAPI or a comparable framework Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into real applications, including prompt engineering and tool/function calling Practical experience with MCP servers and LLM tool ecosystems Experience deploying and running applications in production using Docker and CI/CD on major cloud platforms
