Quick Facts: Location: 2222 North Nevada Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80907 Start Date: 09/19/2026 End Date/Duration: Ongoing from October 2026 Shift: 24-hour call (7a-7a), includes 4 gratis hours Hours/Week: Average 10-12 days/month of coverage Employment Type: Locum/Temporary License/Certs: Colorado medical license; ACLS, PALS, NRP; surgical privileges as required Experience: Prior vascular surgery experience required Pay & Benefits: Hourly pay rate: $0.00 (discussed upon application) Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick leave in accordance with law Travel, licensure, certification, and related reimbursements when applicable What You ll Do: Provide vascular surgical coverage including abdominal open/endovascular procedures Manage vascular trauma cases, including blunt injuries Respond to 24-hour call shifts, providing emergent care and surgical treatments Collaborate with trauma team and support staff in a Level II Trauma setting Document patient care in EPIC EMR system Cover an average of 10-12 days per month, ensuring efficient and quality patient care What You Need: Colorado medical license (or willingness to obtain) Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery Proven experience in abdominal open and endovascular procedures Ability to perform trauma-related vascular treatments Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment: This locum position at a leading facility in Colorado Springs provides vital vascular surgical coverage for trauma cases. The facility is a Level II Trauma Center with a patient population primarily consisting of adult and geriatric patients. Schedules are flexible, with ongoing opportunities starting January 2027 upon schedule release.
