Job Duties: Works in a team to carefully review application files in accordance with established College admission standards from mid-November thru February, with the bulk of the work during January and February. Attends periodic reader training sessions and/or other meetings as needed. Minimum Qualifications: Education Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience Prior experience in admissions or higher education is preferred. Prior experience in reading and evaluating applications for highly-selective schools is desired. Prior experience in reading and evaluating international applications is desired. Skills and Knowledge Commitment to equity and inclusion, and serving the needs of a culturally and educationally diverse community. Excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills. Must be able to demonstrate high level of discretion and confidentiality. Must be self-directed with the ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities with minimal supervision. Impeccable organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to develop and maintain collegial relationships. Must be flexible, collaborative and have a positive attitude. Ability to analyze data to assess admission trends. Willingness and ability to learn additional applications as needed.
