As an Electrician III, you are responsible for daily tasks related to the success of construction projects with the help of electrical utilities. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you are ready for the challenge. Other responsibilities will be:

• Leading and providing guidance to ensure project completion
• Reading blueprints and making estimates
• Managing electrical projects and controlling costs according to project budgets
• Possessing practical knowledge of the electrical industry, including the construction of new sites, modifications implementations, and some knowledge in real estate, site acquisition, and zoning
• Managing and controlling costs in the financial cycle of the project, including budget control, financial tracking, reporting, bidding, proposal management, purchase orders, review and approval of supplier invoices, and project closure
• Preparing the scope of work, including pricing, resources, and schedule for new projects and proposals according to existing contract terms and conditions
• Managing site acquisition projects, engineering, and construction in compliance with established processes and policies by the company, the client, and regulatory agencies
• Using knowledge of customer networks and business models to help determine future opportunities to implement additional products and services
• Performing risk management and contingency planning, negotiating complex or sensitive issues to reach a favorable resolution
• Enforcing the quality program of MasTec Communications Group and ensuring that safety guidelines are followed in the execution of work by personnel and suppliers, and ensuring that labor practices meet or exceed all current company and industry standards, as well as applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations
• Understanding, training, and enforcing the company's quality program, processes, and standards
• Managing the inspection and acceptance of work performed by suppliers and company resources, including the quality of services, equipment, and materials, engineering documents, and other necessary project deliverables
• Implementing and achieving the company's Zero Defects Policy

Qualifications:

• Safety is part of your daily routine. You have an understanding of all phases of telecommunications construction.
• You are a state-licensed electrician 01.
• You have experience in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, P3e, or similar).
• You have a solid command of MS Office.
• You have experience in estimation software.
• You are a high school graduate with more than 5 years of experience in the trade industry.
• You have experience with 24VDC and 48VDC, preferably.
• You are a self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• You have the ability to establish, manage, plan, and think strategically.
• You have the ability to build and foster collaborative relationships.
• You have experience in design and construction.
• You have experience in central networks.
• You have some experience in RF engineering, preferably.
• You demonstrate excellent decision-making skills.
