About the Opportunity

A modern outpatient orthopedic clinic in Greenwood is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to provide care for patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.

This position is focused on helping patients move better, rebuild strength, improve mobility, and return to the activities that matter in their daily lives. The patient population ranges from 11 to 90 years old, giving this role a balanced mix of adolescent, adult, and older adult care.

The clinic uses WebPT and has a clinical team of 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants.

Pay Details

New Graduate Physical Therapist: $65,000–$70,000 per year
Experienced Physical Therapist: $80,000–$90,000 per year, based on years of experience

Clinic and Caseload Information

• Modern outpatient orthopedic setting
• 7–15 patients per day
• Approximately 160–190 patient visits per week
• Primary caseload includes orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
• Patient age range: 11 to 90 years old
• EMR system: WebPT
• Clinical team: 2 PTs and 2 PTAs
• Insurance accepted: BCBS, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare, TRICARE, Humana, and Aetna

Schedule Options

The clinic offers flexibility and strongly prefers one of the following schedules:

Four 10-Hour Days Preferred

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
• Tuesday off each week

Monday–Friday Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and identify mobility limits, pain concerns, strength deficits, balance issues, and functional goals
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and patient needs
• Provide physical therapy treatment for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
• Use manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance activities, mobility training, and functional rehabilitation
• Educate patients on home exercise programs, safe movement, and activity modification
• Track patient progress and update care plans when appropriate
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in WebPT
• Coordinate with PTAs and clinical team members to support patient care from evaluation through discharge

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
• Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain Missouri licensure
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred, but not required
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work professionally with patients across a broad age range
