Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Job description:

Premier electronics manufacturer in Shelby Twp. is seeking an experienced  SMT Operator Technician to join their manufacturing team. This is a permanent, evaluation hire opportunity with a world-class leader in their state-of-the-art facility.

SMT Operator Responsibilities and Required Skills:

• Operate SMT equipment
• Feeder and trolly setups
• Quality inspections
• Familiarity with SMT equipment, tools, materials
• Strong attention to details
• Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• High school diploma or GED required
• 1+ years of SMT Operator and PCB assembly experience required
• Monday – Friday (overtime as needed)

Pay: $19.00 per hour, or more depending upon experience and qualifications

SMT Technician Responsibilities and Required Skills:

• Program, setup, and operate SMT equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair machines as required.
• Work with Engineering, production, and operators to ensure efficient operations to meet production goals.
• High school diploma or GED required, 2yr. technical degree preferred
• 2+ years of SMT Operator and PCB assembly experience required
• Ability to read and understand manuals, blueprints, schematics and drawings
• Setup and programming experience highly preferred

Monday – Friday (overtime as needed)
