Machine Maintenance Technician

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Perm

About the Position

We are looking for a dependable and mechanically skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who wants the chance to prove themselves and transition into a permanent position.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing fast paced industrial machinery and equipment. You should be comfortable working independently, identifying mechanical issues, and keeping equipment operating safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventative and routine maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and determine appropriate repairs
• Repair, replace, and adjust machine components as needed
• Inspect equipment to identify potential problems before they cause downtime
• Assist with installation, setup, and adjustment of machinery
• Perform basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
• Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA requirements
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and help minimize production downtime
• Work with production and maintenance teams to keep operations running smoothly

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in machine, industrial, or mechanical maintenance
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to use common hand and power tools
• Ability to read and understand basic mechanical diagrams and technical documentation
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience is a plus
• Welding or fabrication experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position
