Cross-Asset Risk - Investment Management - Vice President

In addition, the analyst will perform data analysis, aggregation and reporting.YOU WILLWork as a key member of the Cross Asset Risk team to conduct analysis of investment risk for Money Market Funds (MMF), liquidity risks for all public side MSIM Funds, derivatives and leverage analysis across public MSIM Funds, and counterparty risk analysis across all of MSIMSupport key regulatory initiatives and implementation of new projects to address such initiativesManage and respond to inquiries and data requests from internal and external parties.Analyze counterparty risk across portfolios and present results to PMs, Committees, and BoardsConduct liquidity analysis and stress testing on portfoliosLiase with IT to help build out or enhance risk and regulatory reporting.Address ongoing updates to regulatory requirements such as SEC Rules 18f-4 and 22e-4Identify changes in counterparty/leverage/liquidity risk profiles and sources of riskPerform research around liquidity risk and MMFs and present resultsRefine liquidity models and develop new liquidity risk solutions and MMF reports for use by various stakeholdersDevelop and automate reporting for risk monitoringProduce and enhance reporting for Risk Committees and Fund BoardsQUALIFICATIONSAn undergraduate in business, finance, mathematics or other related quantitative fieldStrong IT skills (SQL, Python or R skills a plus) and experience in use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and WordExperience using Aladdin and a Bloomberg Terminal a plusHighly motivated and enthusiastic self-starterTeam player who is comfortable both working not only within the greater GRA team but across teams in MSIM and the FirmDemonstrated interest in global financial markets; previous experience in the asset management industry preferredAbility to handle multiple assignments at once and meet associated deadlinesSuperior attention to detailOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY: At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients – helping them reach their goals.
