About the Position Sommelier job at Centurion® New York in New York, NY. The Dinex Group, Chef Daniel Boulud’s internationally acclaimed restaurant group, has opened a new multiple‑venue fine‑fine‑casual and upscale bar/lounge on the 55th floor of One Vanderbilt near Grand Central Terminal. We are looking for a trained and enthusiastic hospitality professional to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who is knowledgeable about wine & spirits and French cuisine, who has a willingness to grow and learn, and who is dedicated to guest service. Responsibilities Maintain an international wine and beer list that meets management goals and ensure proper service of wine and beer. Conduct training of wait staff and keep them up to date on all changes to the wine and beer list. Manage the beverage storeroom, verify all alcoholic beverage delivery invoices, budget, and perform weekly inventory. Guide guests toward food & wine pairings to enhance their dining experience. Qualifications 2+ years of fine‑dining experience in a similar restaurant.
