Classes This teacher will be responsible for the following classes: 4th Grade Math and Science. Our teachers actively support and play a faith-formation role in collaboration with our Director of Religious Education. Job Requirements Provide a positive environment that encourages students to be engaged in the learning process, including active and responsible use of technology. Implements instructional activities that contribute to an atmosphere where students are engaged in meaningful learning experiences. Identifies, selects, and modifies instructional resources to meet the needs of the students with varying backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs. Uses and analyzes available data to drive instructional practices, including ILEARN and NWEA MAP diagnostic data. Maintains effective and efficient grading procedures. Establishes and maintains cooperative and professional working relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, including the Pastor and Principal. Strong candidates will also be able to fit in with two ongoing initiatives at SJB: 1:1 learning and curriculum mapping.
