Non CDL Delivery Driver

Are you the type of person who has always enjoyed being behind the wheel? Join our Southern Lumber team as one of our valuable drivers, spending your time delivering lumber packages to local job sites.

About the Role:

• Must be coachable, a team player, and customer service minded.
• Must follow all safety guidelines to protect yourself and teammates.
• Able to contribute and maintain a neat and tidy work environment on the yard.
• Must be able to communicate efficiently and pay attention to details.
• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
• Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization.

Your prior experience:

• A background in putting customers first, being a contributor to a team, and bringing your own uniqueness.
• Experience properly operating, loading, and unloading trucks safely. This includes but is not limited to lumber, trim, windows, and doors.
• Efficiently and effectively navigating the Charleston, SC lowcountry from Awendaw to Kiawah Island.

Job Type: Full-time, 40-50 hours/week

Pay: $20+ per hour
