Job Description
Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler with strong expertise in Asset & Wealth Management, Retirement Services, or Financial Services . The candidate will design scalable enterprise data models supporting Data Warehouse, Lakehouse, Data Products, BI, and AI initiatives .

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models .
• Develop canonical, conformed, and dimensional data models using Star and Snowflake schemas.
• Define facts, dimensions, hierarchies, measures, KPIs, and business rules.
• Support Lakehouse and Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) .
• Translate business requirements into reusable data domains and data products .
• Define data modeling, metadata, naming, and governance standards.
• Partner with Data Governance teams on data quality, ownership, lineage, and glossary .
• Support data catalog, semantic layer, BI, analytics, and AI initiatives.
• Lead model reviews and collaborate with business, product, engineering, and architecture teams.

Requirements

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Data Modeling/Data Architecture.
• Strong experience in Asset Management, Wealth Management, Retirement, or Financial Services .
• Hands-on experience with Erwin .
• Strong knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, and SQL .
• Experience with Canonical Data Modeling, Dimensional Modeling, Lakehouse, and Medallion Architecture .
• Strong understanding of BI/Analytics, Data Governance, Metadata, and Data Lineage .
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Data Mesh and Domain-Driven Design .
• Experience building Data Products and Semantic Data Layers .
• Knowledge of Collibra, Alation, or similar data governance/catalog tools .
• Experience supporting AI/ML and self-service BI initiatives.
• Relevant AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, or Data Architecture certifications .
