Position Overview

\n

Global Turf Equipment is looking for a motivated, relationship-driven professional to help expand our presence across South Florida . We're particularly interested in connecting with Golf Course Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, Equipment Managers, and experienced turf industry professionals who have a strong understanding of golf course operations, established industry relationships, and a natural ability to connect with customers.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to transition from golf course operations into a sales career, or for an existing sales professional looking to represent an exceptional portfolio of equipment.

\n

\n

A primary focus of this position will be leading the adoption of Husqvarna autonomous mowing solutions throughout the territory, while developing opportunities across our full lineup of golf and turf equipment.

\n

\n

Prior equipment sales experience is a plus, but not required. We're looking for someone who knows the industry, understands the challenges our customers face, and has the personality and drive to succeed in sales.

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Develop and grow relationships with golf course superintendents, directors of agronomy, equipment managers, and other turf industry professionals throughout South Florida.
\n
• Lead the introduction and adoption of Husqvarna autonomous mowing technology , helping customers evaluate opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce labor demands, and modernize their maintenance operations.
\n
• Identify and develop sales opportunities across Global Turf Equipment's full portfolio, including Jacobsen, Cushman, Bobcat, Trimax, Redexim, Smithco, and other leading manufacturers.
\n
• Conduct customer visits, equipment demonstrations, and on-site evaluations to identify solutions that meet customer needs.
\n
• Develop proposals, equipment recommendations, and fleet solutions tailored to individual operations.
\n
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline while actively identifying new business opportunities.
\n
• Work closely with our sales, service, parts, and operations teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
\n
• Represent Global Turf Equipment at industry events, golf outings, trade shows, and customer meetings.
\n

Qualifications

\n

We're looking for industry experience and relationships first. Sales experience is secondary.

\n

\n
• Professional background in golf course maintenance, turf management, equipment management, or related equipment sales.
\n
• Strong understanding of golf course operations, maintenance practices, and equipment applications.
\n
• Established relationships within the South Florida golf and turf industry strongly preferred.
\n
• Genuine interest in emerging technologies, particularly autonomous and robotic mowing solutions.
\n
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting customer relationships.
\n
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing an independent, field-based territory.
\n
• Willingness to learn new products, develop sales skills, and take ownership of territory growth.
\n
• Previous sales experience is beneficial but not required.
\n
