Job Description
A community-focused healthcare organization in New York City is seeking a Part-Time Cardiologist to join its outpatient clinical team one day per week .
This role offers the chance to provide cardiovascular care and heart health management while working collaboratively with primary care providers in a supportive clinical environment.
Position Highlights
- $100–$120+ per hour compensation
- 1 day per week schedule
- Outpatient cardiology practice
- Collaborative care with primary care teams
- Located in New York City
What You'll Do
- Evaluate and manage cardiovascular conditions
- Interpret cardiac diagnostic tests such as EKGs and other assessments
- Develop treatment plans for acute and chronic heart disease
- Educate patients about heart health and prevention strategies
- Maintain documentation within the electronic health record
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
- Active New York State medical license or eligibility to obtain one
- Experience in outpatient cardiology or community health settings preferred
- Excellent communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care
