This contract opportunity invites you to work with a dedicated preschool caseload, delivering vital services for students with diverse needs. Located near Blue Springs, MO, you’ll collaborate with a passionate team, contributing to students’ growth and school success.

In this role, you’ll provide a mix of screenings, assessments, consultations, and direct occupational therapy interventions. Your expertise will support ongoing evaluation and IEP team participation, shaping personalized learning journeys for each student. As part of a supportive educational community, you'll help foster development and independence for children at a critical stage in their lives.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid Occupational Therapist state license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous school-based or pediatric OT experience preferred
• Understanding of IEP process and team collaboration
• Excellent communication, consultation, and documentation skills
• Ability to engage and motivate preschool-aged children

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings and comprehensive OT assessments
• Participate in evaluations and multidisciplinary IEP meetings
• Deliver both direct and consultative therapy services tailored to individual student needs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
• Maintain clear records and ensure compliance with school and state guidelines

Position Details:

• Three days per week, 8:15am-3:45pm (Tue-Thurs preferred, Mon-Wed possible)
• Serve at a dedicated preschool center supporting early learners
• Assignment is ongoing until a district hire is found, with potential to increase hours
