Archadeck Outdoor LivingWe are Archadeck Outdoor Living, North America's leading designer and builder of outdoor living spaces such as decks, porches, sunrooms, hardscape patios, and shade structures. We seek construction professionals with established carpentry expertise to work on our residential building & remodeling projects. You will primarily be responsible for delivering the finished product to the satisfaction of the contract specifications, customer expectations, building officials, and the Archadeck franchise. Previous carpentry experience with residential projects is required, as are strong interpersonal communication skills, excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic and the ability to follow our documented processes.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate your employees to ensure they understand and work to construction drawings in compliance with the specified detailsCheck construction drawings with sales design drawings to ensure adequacy and accuracy of informationCheck materials delivered against take-off and inform franchisee of shortages to allow for the prompt delivery of missing items and uninterrupted workflowEstablish and follow a schedule with the franchiseeMaintain an orderly job site by cleaning up daily and assuring safety practices are utilizedMaintain positive relations with customersRefer all problems to the franchisee for resolutionContact franchisee if necessary to resolve immediatelyComply with the Subcontractor Agreement as signedQualificationsClean and neat appearanceGood communication and people skillsWilling to learn and follow documented processesAbility to work specified details and quality assurance checklist independentlyA thorough background in good carpentry techniques, framing, and trim, exterior and interior, the foundation through roofAbility to read and interpret plans and check take-offsAbility to lay out footings or foundationsAbility to determine elevationsCompensation: $50.00 - $75.00 per hourFounded in 1980, Archadeck Outdoor Living is North America's largest designer and builder of custom decks, screened porches, patios, sunrooms, outdoor living rooms, outdoor kitchens and other outdoor living structures.
