Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Telemetry position requiring at least one prior travel assignment, EKG rhythm interpretation proficiency, and night shift availability.

Details

• Inpatient telemetry unit setting
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Shift: Nights, 3x12 hours (18:45–07:15)
• Weekend and holiday coverage required based on unit needs
• Floating required within units of equivalent or lower acuity level
• Time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the start of the assignment

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• At least 1 prior completed travel assignment required
• Experience with ER holding, telemetry, and interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on the lethal rhythms section
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are accepted
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
