Schedule

Day shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS/Tele RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have recent experience and be proficient in managing patients with dysrhythmias, utilizing rapid response/code teams, and administering oxygen and other related procedures. This role requires floating to other areas as needed, and weekend and holiday work is required every other week.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patients in a medical-surgical and telemetry setting.
• Perform interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
• Administer oxygen and manage peripheral lines.
• Implement isolation precautions as needed.
• Participate in team nursing with a care team of RN, LPN, and PCA.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience in a medical-surgical/telemetry setting.
• Valid NY State License required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
