Middle School Humanities Teacher

Role Description The Middle School Humanities Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons in language arts, history, and social studies for middle school learners. Responsibilities include planning and implementing daily instruction, developing and adapting curriculum aligned with school goals, assessing student learning, and providing timely feedback. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary projects, communicate regularly with families about student progress, and contribute to a positive, inclusive environment. This is a part or full-time role.

Qualifications

• Ability to design and implement effective Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development aligned with middle school humanities standards.
• Demonstrated experience working with Middle School learners and applying developmentally appropriate Teaching practices.
• Strong Communication skills for engaging students, collaborating with colleagues, and partnering with families.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Humanities, or a related field; advanced degree or teaching credential is preferred.
• Experience creating inclusive learning environments and supporting diverse learning needs.
• Commitment to continuous professional growth and alignment with Red Bridge’s learner-centered philosophy.
