Description Emergency Technician at Providence Milwaukie Hospital is a 0.6 FTE part‑time position working weekdays and weekends on a night shift. Assists the physician or nurse practitioner during procedures by providing sutures, supplies, instruments and equipment, while maintaining proper sterile technique. Required Qualifications National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire Prevention and Management of Assaultive Behavior (PMAB) – completion annually upon hire 1 year of relevant experience in patient care or clinical settings (preferred) Experience earned through certification, licensure, military medical service, or senior clinical nursing student considered Preferred Qualifications Current or former EMT, Paramedic, Medical Assistant Program completion, or CNA certification upon hire About Providence Providence is a comprehensive healthcare organization serving more than 50 hospitals and 1,000 clinics across Alaska, California, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas and Washington.
