Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a skilled and caring Sonographer / Ultrasound Imaging Specialist to become an integral part of our dedicated imaging team. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse ultrasound exams including abdominal, gynecological, obstetric, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures and provide clear explanations at every step
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring any malfunctions are promptly reported
• Thoroughly document imaging procedures and maintain organized patient records within the electronic medical record system
• Stay informed on the latest ultrasound imaging advancements and adhere to best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent credentials
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
