Job Title: Physician – Region 1
Location: Toledo, OH 43608
Shift: Weekdays, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours/Week: 40
Duration: Minimum 6 months (potential extension; could lead to permanent hire)

Position Overview
We are seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Physician (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine) with primary care experience. The physician will provide full-time on-site services, delivering high-quality medical care to patients, performing assessments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities
•    Provide routine and emergency medical care, including examination, diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of patient progress.
•    Conduct physical exams and write detailed evaluations, reports, and summaries.
•    Order and interpret diagnostic tests and manage medications.
•    Make referrals for specialized care as needed.
•    Perform minor procedures and administer treatments for acute and chronic conditions.
•    Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, continuous quality improvement initiatives, and peer review activities.
•    Document patient care accurately in electronic health records and maintain compliance with facility policies and medical standards.
•    Consult with other healthcare professionals regarding patient treatment plans and provide guidance to nursing, technical, and support staff.
•    Provide care in accordance with scope of practice, policies, procedures, protocols, and relevant professional standards.
•    Manage a caseload of approximately 2.5 patients per hour.
Required Qualifications
•    Medical license to practice in Ohio.
•    Board eligibility or certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
•    Healthcare-professional level BLS/CPR certification.
•    Minimum of master’s degree in medicine.
•    Experience in primary care and routine medical procedures.

Preferred Qualifications
•    Experience in correctional, institutional, or similar healthcare settings.
•    Strong knowledge of medical, anatomical, physiological, and psychological principles.
•    Ability to handle sensitive interactions and maintain professionalism.
•    Competency in interpreting laboratory and diagnostic test results.
