Schedule Environment: Fast-paced neonatal care unit with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for the state of assignment Level III or higher NICU experience required; 2 years or more preferred NRP certification required STABLE and NIC-RNC preferred Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend Strong attention to detail, organization, and calm decision-making in high-acuity neonatal care settings Experience with Cerner EMR preferred Comfortable floating to Pediatrics, PICU, and Mother Baby (babies only) as needed Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate, developmentally appropriate care to critically ill and premature newborns Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition in a high-acuity NICU environment Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the care team to support optimal neonatal outcomes Deliver care across a range of acuity levels, including 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, and 1:4 assignments Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the EMR Support unit workflow, safety standards, and family-centered care practices Float to approved pediatric areas when assigned and within scope of practice Apply now for this NICU Registered Nurse opportunity in Asheville, North Carolina, and join a dedicated neonatal healthcare team today.
