Job Description

Coventry Public Schools is seeking to hire substitute per diem custodians. Pay rate of $16.00 an hour. Job overview: To provide a variety of services pertaining to the cleanliness and upkeep of offices, rest rooms, stairways, corridor, and academic areas.

Requirements: Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred but not required. Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Familiarity with floor care techniques, including buffing and polishing, is desirable. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team. Position type: Part-time.
