This per diem pharmacist role offers a chance to support patient care in a dynamic retail pharmacy setting during select dates from August 27-28 and September 3-4. Working morning shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, the pharmacist will operate under the direct guidance of the pharmacy manager to dispense medications safely and accurately using Pioneer software.

Key responsibilities include:

• Dispensing medications with attention to patient safety and accuracy
• Counseling patients on medication regimens and providing expert advice
• Addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints according to protocol
• Maintaining inventory and controlling records for pharmaceuticals and controlled substances
• Resolving patient issues and clarifying insurance coverage matters

Desired qualifications:

• Active, clear pharmacist license in Texas required
• Minimum of 1 year experience in retail pharmacy preferred
