Charge Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Role: Provides leadership and coordination on a Cardiac Med Surg unit, overseeing staffing, patient care, and clinical objectives. Responsibilities Assigns, directs, educates, and monitors nursing/support staff during shifts. Assesses patient care needs, develops care assignments, and ensures quality outcomes. Collaborates with advanced practice providers and evaluates patient care effectiveness. Responds to care-related complaints and assists in staff hiring, training, and evaluation. Maintains safety and performs additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensing. At least one year of RN experience. Strong communication, assessment, and leadership skills. Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform patient care tasks. valid BLS certification and RN licensure in applicable states.
