Resident Manager

GSF Properties Inc. is seeking a Resident Manager in Fresno, CA. Join a dynamic and growing property management team!

In this role, you will oversee all aspects of operations for a 112-unit market-rate community, including leasing, resident relations, maintenance coordination, and financial performance. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in market-rate housing with a proven ability to drive occupancy, maximize revenue, and deliver an exceptional resident experience. This position is responsible for achieving leasing goals, maintaining the property's physical condition, and supporting ownership's financial objectives while upholding a high standard of customer service and community engagement. As a newly acquired property for GSF, this role requires a dedicated manager to elevate performance and take the community to the next level.

This position offers a 36-hour workweek, scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, with weekday hours of 9:00 AM-6:00 PM in the summer and 8:00 AM-5:00 PM in the winter, plus Saturdays from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM. Compensation ranges from $20.00-$21.00 per hour, depending on experience, and includes benefits along with a two-bedroom, two-bath apartment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of a 112-unit market-rate community
• Drive leasing efforts to achieve and sustain occupancy goals
• Provide exceptional customer service and foster strong resident relations and retention
• Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure timely service and quality property upkeep
• Manage financial performance, including rent collections and expense control
• Maintain property appearance, curb appeal, and overall condition
• Prepare reports and support ownership's financial and operational objectives
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
• Support marketing initiatives and community engagement efforts
• Collaborate with the Portfolio Manager to support operational success

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 2+ years of property management or related experience, preferably in market-rate housing
• Strong leasing and sales skills with a track record of achieving occupancy goals
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of property operations, including maintenance coordination and rent collections
• Basic understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and expense control
• Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to work: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, with weekday hours of 9:00 AM-6:00 PM in the summer and 8:00 AM-5:00 PM in the winter, plus Saturdays from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM.
