Delivery & Logistics Coordinator

Position Summary

The Delivery & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating daily catering deliveries and pickups, maintaining accurate delivery schedules, communicating changes to drivers and internal departments, and ensuring that all delivery-related information is organized and up to date. This position works closely with Operations, Catering, Kitchen, and other departments to ensure events are executed smoothly and on time.

Key Responsibilities

· Create and maintain the daily and weekly delivery schedule.

· Coordinate and communicate event pickups, drop-offs, late deliveries, and schedule changes.

· Confirm delivery schedules and event trucks prior to events.

· Schedule and coordinate event trucks and drivers.

· Update delivery schedules throughout the day as changes occur.

· Find and schedule weekend delivery staff as needed.

· Enter and maintain event information in Google Sheets, including deliveries and pickups.

· Input and maintain driver service fees.

· Maintain event truck information in Google Sheets.

· Update Nowsta with driver assignments, event trucks, and pickups.

· Ensure delivery and event information is accurate and current across scheduling systems.

· Print and distribute hot food and coffee timing information to the appropriate teams.

· Create a daily coffee list with timing and distribute it to the appropriate departments.

· Create and distribute daily drinks lists.

· Communicate event timing and delivery changes to the appropriate departments.

Qualifications

· Strong organizational and time-management skills.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to manage multiple events and schedule changes simultaneously.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

· Comfortable working with Google Sheets, Nowsta, PowerPoint, and other scheduling software.

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced catering or event environment.

· Ability to prioritize urgent issues and make quick decisions when schedules change.

· Previous experience in catering, logistics, delivery coordination, or event operations preferred.

Success in This Position

The successful candidate will keep the delivery operation organized, ensure accurate event and scheduling information is maintained, identify potential issues before they become problems, and help ensure that catering events are properly coordinated from the kitchen through delivery and pickup.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly $25.00

Schedule

Monday through Friday

8:00am – 4:00pm
