Northwest Chicago, IL | Full-Time | Regional Travel

A growing pediatric therapy organization is looking for an Operations Manager to lead operations across multiple clinics in the Northwest Chicago region.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who likes to take ownership, solve problems, develop people, and make things better.

You won’t be stepping into a role where you simply maintain the status quo. You’ll be expected to identify what is working, recognize what isn’t, and help drive solutions across multiple locations.

You’ll partner closely with clinical leaders while supporting clinic operations, team performance, family experience, staffing, productivity, and continued regional growth.

What You’ll Own

• Lead operational performance across multiple pediatric therapy clinics

• Coach and develop clinic-based operations team members

• Monitor key performance indicators and create action plans when results fall short

• Identify operational challenges and own solutions from beginning to end

• Partner with clinical leadership on staffing, scheduling, productivity, and clinic performance

• Help resolve complex operational and family concerns with urgency and professionalism

• Ensure clinics are organized, appropriately staffed, and ready to provide a strong experience for families and employees

• Support employee engagement, retention, and leadership development

• Improve processes and create greater consistency across locations

• Support facility needs, operational projects, and regional initiatives

• Assist with new clinic openings, relocations, expansion, and future growth

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a self-starter and natural problem solver. You’re someone who sees an issue and wants to figure it out. You can hold people accountable, make decisions, and push things forward, but you also understand that great healthcare leadership requires empathy, emotional intelligence, and strong relationships.

You’ll likely be a strong fit if you:

• Have successfully led operations in a healthcare or clinical environment

• Have experience managing multiple locations, teams, or complex operations

• Are comfortable using data and KPIs to identify trends and improve performance

• Enjoy coaching and developing people

• Take ownership and follow through

• Can be direct when necessary without losing empathy or professionalism

• Work well alongside clinicians and understand the importance of strong clinical and operational partnership

• Stay composed when priorities shift or unexpected issues arise

• Care about creating an excellent experience for children, families, and employees

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of management or operations experience in a clinical setting

• Experience working with operational KPIs and performance metrics

• Strong people-leadership experience

• Multi-site leadership experience strongly preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

• Comfort working with business and healthcare technology systems

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned region

Compensation

• Salary range: $78,000–$84,000

• Bonus structure available

• Travel stipend/mileage provided to help offset regional travel

Location & Travel

This position supports multiple clinic locations throughout the North West Chicago region and requires regular travel between locations.
