Survey Project Manager

Location: Pleasantville, NY | Full-Time | $90,000–$130,000+ DOE

We are an established land surveying firm serving clients throughout Westchester County and the surrounding area. Our team provides comprehensive surveying and mapping services supporting municipal infrastructure, real estate development, construction, environmental projects, and legal documentation.

The Position

We are seeking an experienced Survey Project Manager to join our office team.

This is a hands-on position for someone who understands both the technical and project-management sides of land surveying. Our Project Managers work closely with field crews while also being involved in drafting, calculations, geometry, boundary analysis, and final project deliverables.

A PLS license is preferred but not required. We are open to experienced survey professionals who have strong technical knowledge and are ready to take on project-management responsibilities.

• 3D laser scanning
• FEMA elevation certificates
• Legal descriptions
• Property and land surveying studies

Approximately 40% of our work is municipal, with the remainder consisting primarily of boundary, topographic, and construction/layout projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage surveying projects from initial scope through completion
• Coordinate with field crews and office staff
• Perform and review surveying calculations
• Analyze boundary information and property records
• Perform geometry calculations and closure analysis
• Prepare and review survey plans
• Draft and edit plans using Civil 3D
• Provide technical direction to field crews
• Review field data for accuracy and completeness
• Resolve technical and property-related surveying issues
• Communicate with clients and other project stakeholders
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Ensure projects are completed accurately and efficiently

Qualifications

• Several years of professional land surveying experience
• Strong understanding of boundary surveying and property research
• Experience with calculations, geometry, and closure
• Experience preparing or reviewing survey plans
• Working knowledge of Civil 3D
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively with field and office personnel
• PLS license preferred, but not required

Compensation

• $90,000–$130,000+, depending on experience and licensure
