Product Selector - Lawton

This position is accountable for building customer orders by placing product on pallets throughout the warehouse, filling the order by locating products and building a stable load.

Job Duties:

• Operate warehouse vehicles and equipment (pallet jacks, walkie-riders, forklifts) in a safe manner and without accidents. Be aware of others around you. Avoid damage to product. Avoid injuries.
• Walkie Rider / Pallet Jack inspections daily
• Learn all product / date codes
• Perform a combination of tasks to prepare customer orders for shipment while using iPod and scanner.
• Operates warehouse vehicles and equipment through all areas of the warehouse to collect product from pallets, rollers and other storage areas.
• Build a stable pallet containing a variety of shapes and sizes.
• Assist in keeping warehouse clean and orderly, clean up trash, level pallets, and take out trash.
• Make sure all package products are correct on each order.
• Report to warehouse management anything that will contribute to more efficient warehouse activities.
• Accurately pulls product and stages orders at QA station.
• Adds tags to pallets at QA station.
• Collects breakers and deposits in the repack room.
• Ensure pallets are stacked neatly.
• Clean assigned isles; sweep, plastic removal and down stack.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work with computer programs associated with the performance of the position.
• Good communication skills, ability to work well with all levels of the organization, to organize, and prioritize.
• Decision making, thoroughness and time management is a must.
• Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Must pass all pre-employment screenings including a physical, drug test and background investigation.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse operation and learn product locations.
• Able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations.
• Work experience in warehouse or other field preferred.
• Must be able to constantly lift 20-50 lbs. and frequently up to 160 lbs.
