Senior Tax Accountant to join a Stand Alone practice in Columbus!
The Stand Alone Practice Sr. Accountant will be a direct pathway to Practice Leadership. Primary responsibilities will include active preparation and review of individual income tax forms (1040), reviewing returns involving pass-through entities, trusts, investments, rental activities and multi-state filings, identify opportunities to reduce liabilities and research and resolve complex tax issues.
This role will assist in developing the strategic vision for the Stand Alone practice, help establish and implement work flows, processes and service standards, , mentor and coach tax staff and senior associates, review work prepared by team members and provide feedback, assist with onboarding new associates and develop and promote a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
The Stand Alone Sr. Accountant will grow the practice by proactively developing business through networking, referrals and other growth initiatives.
Compensation range will begin in the $130,000-$150,000 range with bonus opportunities.

To be successful in this role, the Sr. Stand Alone Tax Accountant will have:
-6+ years of public tax accounting experience
-Experience in managing client relationships and tax planning strategies for individuals, business owners and closely held businesses.
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related required
-CPA is preferred but not required
-Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, UltraTax or similar
-Strong proficiency with Excel and other MS Office software
