Sr. Product Designer Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Remote) Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Designer to help shape intuitive, engaging, and impactful customer experiences throughout the user journey. This is a highly visible role that combines strategic thinking, design leadership, research, and hands-on product design. The ideal candidate is passionate about solving complex problems, influencing product direction, and creating seamless experiences that drive customer adoption and business value. What You'll Do Lead creative problem-solving efforts across complex, cross-functional initiatives. Define and drive design strategy that aligns with business objectives and customer needs. Champion Design Thinking methodologies across teams and stakeholders. Influence product direction through customer insights, research, and data-driven decision making. Design and improve customer-facing products across web and mobile platforms. Create intuitive, scalable experiences that reduce friction and drive adoption. Develop solutions that support consistency and efficiency across multiple product teams. Ensure seamless, end-to-end customer experiences through a holistic design approach. Gather, synthesize, and apply insights from user research, competitive analysis, customer feedback, and behavioral data. Translate research findings into actionable design recommendations. Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Marketing, and Data teams. Present and communicate design concepts to stakeholders and executive leadership. Mentor and coach designers at various levels. Required Qualifications Experience: 10+ years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, or a related discipline. 5+ years leading design initiatives, including experience managing designers or design teams. 3+ years partnering with executive leadership on strategic business initiatives. Proven track record of shipping successful products across multiple platforms and markets. Demonstrated ability to drive projects from concept through execution. Strong portfolio showcasing strategic thinking, design craft, end-to-end product ownership, and complex problem-solving abilities. Education: Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Interaction Design, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with industry-standard design and research tools, including Figma, Miro, UserTesting.com, and Dovetail. Expertise across the full design spectrum, including Interaction Design, Visual Design, Content Design, Motion Design, and User Research. Personal Attributes Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Highly detail-oriented with a passion for delivering quality experiences. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities.
