Medical Technologist - Night Shift

This position requires a night shift from 18:00 to 06:00.

Job Description

The Medical Technologist performs diagnostic testing on patient samples to aid physicians in the diagnosis and monitoring of various disease states. This role follows standardized procedures and assists in preparing samples for testing while analyzing test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits. The technologist relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals while performing a variety of tasks that require a limited degree of creativity and latitude.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic testing on patient samples.
• Prepare samples for testing and ensure adherence to standardized procedures.
• Analyze test results for accuracy and critical limits.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide timely diagnostic information.
• Maintain quality control and troubleshoot testing procedures as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
• Certification as a Medical Technologist is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in the laboratory setting, with prior travel experience preferred.
